Winter Indoor Lacrosse League
The 2011/2012 Winter Indoor Lacrosse League will be organized and run by Paul Ralph and Barbra DiArcangelo from the Central Virginia Lacrosse League. All games will be played at SportsQuest’s Indoor Sports Center (formerly RISE Indoor). We encourage all teams and players to register early! Our available positions will fill quickly so take advantage of this opportunity while you can.
How Many Teams/Players Will We Take?
- 14 Teams for the Boys and Girls High School Divisions
- 8 Teams for the Middle School Boys Division
- 4 Teams for the Middle School Girls Division
- 60 players will be permitted for the Boys 4th/5th Grade Division
- 30 Players for the Boys 1st-3rd Grade Div. & the Girls 1st-5th Grade Beginners Div.
House teams will be filled by those that register as an individual and/or small groups. Those that register as a team must meet minimum roster slots (16) and provide a Coach. League administration reserves the right to place individual registrants on rosters to fill teams where space allows.

You can register as a team, group of friends or as an individual. Goalies will receive a 50% refund at the end of the season if they play in all games. Everyone has to submit a registration from and wavier. Please make checks payable to:

League Features:
- All players will receive League reversible
- Certified officials at each game
- Certified trainer at all games
- New and Improved lighting
- U9 Boys/Girls:
30 minutes of skill instruction, 30 minutes of play
Boys Lacrosse Info/Dates/Times
- Maximum roster of 16, minimum of 12
- Face- off to start each game and half time only
- No boarding, cross checks or take out checks
- All penalties will be time served running clock
- On field play will be 6 v 6 – 1 goalie and 5 short sticks
- NO LONG POLES – Keep 1 player back
- Sundays (Dec.18 / Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29 / Feb. 5, 12, 19)
- Rotating schedule between 12noon to 6:00pm
- 1st-3rd grade will play at 12noon
- 4th/5th grade will play at 12noon & 1:00pm
- Middle School will play from 1:00pm to 5:00pm
- High School will play from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
- There will be two High School Divisions
Girls Lacrosse Info/Dates/Times
- Maximum roster of 16, minimum of 13
- On field play will be 7v7 plus goalie
- Keep only ONE defender back
- Saturdays (Dec.17 / Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28 / Feb. 4, 11, 18)
- Rotating schedule between 12noon to 5:00pm
- 1st-5th grade beginners 12noon or 1:00pm
- Middle School will play between 2:00pm & 3:00pm
- High School will play between 2:00pm & 5:00pm
